Tombstone Tuesday - Geraldine Seaver Remley (1917-2007)

My father's youngest sibling, Geraldine (Seaver) Remley (1917-2007) asked the family if she could be buried with her parents in Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster, Massachusetts, in the one remaining spot available.  Her siblings all agreed, while they were alive back in the 1980s, and when Aunt Gerry died, we had a memorial service and burial at the cemetery in May 2007.  Her executor was tasked with having the stone engraved to reflect her wishes.

I have not been to Leominster since then, so I was anxious to see how Gerry's name was added to the gravestone.  Carol A. Purinton took these photographs, and passed the links to them on Find-A-Grave to me, and allowed me to use them in this post:

As you can see, Geraldine S. Remley, with her years of birth and death, are now on the gravestone.  The persons on the gravestone, and buried in the plot, are:

*  Frederick Walton Seaver (1876-1942), my paternal grandfather
*  Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver (1882-1962), my paternal grandmother
*  Stanley Richmond Seaver (1905-1910), my father's oldest brother
*  Geraldine (Seaver) Remley (1917-2007), my father's youngest sister, and wife of James Howard Remley (1912-2007), who is buried in Maine.

My thanks to Carol A. Purinton for the photographs and permitting me to use them on Genea-Musings.
