Added or Updated Databases at Ancestry.com - Week of 14 to 20 February 2016

The following databases were added or updated on Ancestry.com during the period from 14 to 20 February 2016:



The databases added or updated include:


*  Web: Queensland, Australia, Death Inquest Index, 1859 - 1897; indexed database with no record images, ADDED 2/17/2016

*  Web: Queensland, Australia, Will Index, 1857-1900 (all Districts), 1901-1940 (Southern District); indexed database with no record images, ADDED 2/17/2016

*  \Iowa, Deaths and Burials, 1850-1990; indexed database with no record images, UPDATED 2/16/2016

By my count above there were 2 NEW databases ADDED this past week, per the list above. There are now 32,514 databases available as of 20 February, up 2 from last week.

Well, that was a big to-do about nothing. In a search for Alonzo Bailey the first Alonzo listed was the 17th name down. HOW do you do a search for a specific person and they don't show up until #17? How do various other names, one a William, come before the searched for Alonzo? But the whole state is not there anyway. This must be one of those "selected" data bases. On the other hand, I don't believe any data base ancestry publishes if there is no original document scan to go with it. They make up too many "facts" for their Index Only data bases.
