The source citation for this record is:

"U.S. Dutch Reformed Church Records from Selected States, 1639-1989," digital images, (, New York > Schenectady > "Schenectady Baptisms," Volume 1, Book 41, typescript, page 16 (mage 22 of 163), Jacobus Van Vorst entry.

Jacobus Jillise Van Vorst (1703-1797?) was baptized 12 December 1703 in Schenectady's Dutch Reformed Church, the third child and third son of Jillis Jacobse Van Vorst and Elizabeth Janse Van Eps.  He married (1) Anna Beck (1704-1749), and they had nine children.  He married (2) Sarah Fonda (1713-????) in 1750.

Jacobus and Anna (Beck) Van Vorst are my 6th great-grandparents, through their daughter Anna Van Vorst (1732-1789) who married (2) John Kemp (1723-1795) in about 1758.
