Mary Bennet was born 3 March 1685/6 in Ipswich, Massachusetts, the first child of Henry and Frances (Burr) Bennet of Ipswich[1-3,5].
On 21 April 1703 in Ipswich, Mary Bennett married Nathaniel Knowlton (1693-1760), the son of Nathaniel and Deborah (Jewett) Knowlton of Ipswich[4-5]. They had five children, all registered in the Ipswich town birth records:
* Mary Knowlton (1704-1797), married 1727 Benjamin Carril (1703-1796).
* William Knowlton (1706-1753), married 1729 Martha Pinder (1708-1775).
* Nathaniel Knowlton (1708-1753), married (1) 1729 Mary Fuller (1708-1735).
* Jeremiah Knowlton (1712-1713).
* Jeremiah Knowlton (1713-1752), married 1735 Sarah Allen (1717-1796).
Mary (Bennet) Knowlton died before 1717, when Nathaniel married, secondly, to Reform (Trescott) Jewett (1694-1755) on 13 June 1717 in Ipswich[5].
There are no death, burial and probate records for Mary (Bennet) Knowlton.
