Marie Wight was born 20 February 1667 in Medfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Thomas and Mehitable (Cheney) Wight[1,3].
She married Joseph Clark (1664-1731) on 8 April 1686 in Medfield[2]. He was the son of Joseph and Mary (Allen) Clark of Medfield.
They had seven children, all born and recorded in the Medfield town records. They were:
* Mary Clark (1687-1717), married 1705 Nathaniel Smith (1684-1762).
* Mehitable Clark (1690-1765), married 1715 Timothy Morse (1687-1765).

Mary's father, Thomas Wight (1629-1690) died intestate in Medfield, and left an estate, but there is no mention of any of the children in his estate file. Mary's mother, Mehitable (Cheney) Wight, reportedly died in 1693 in Medfield.
Mary (Wight) Clark died on 16 December 1705 in Medfield[3-4] at age 38, leaving seven children between the ages of 2 and 18.
Marie (Wight) Clark is probably buried in Vine Lake Cemetery in Medfield, but there is no gravestone. There is a Find A Grave memorial for her[4].

NOTE: In 2014, Amy Johnson Crow suggested a weekly blog theme of "52 Ancestors" in her blog post 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks on the No Story Too Small blog. I have extended this theme in 2020 for a seventh year to 364 Ancestors in 364 Weeks. The list of 52 Ancestors biographies from my great-grandparents to the 7th great-grandparents (in work) is in https://www.geneamusings.com/p/ancestor-biographies.html.
