It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.
The treasure today is the birth entry for Lydia Bathrick (1752-1795) in the Westborough, Massachusetts town record book:The transcription of this record is:
"Lydia Bathrick was borne March y'e 11'th 1752 of David Barthrick and Lydia his wife."
"Lydia Bathrick was borne March y'e 11'th 1752 of David Barthrick and Lydia his wife."
The source citation for this record is:
Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988, indexed database and digital image, Ancestry.com (https://www.ancestry.com : accessed 25 November 2020), "Westborough > Births, Marriages, and Deaths," page 27 (image 267 of 1417), Lydia Bathrick birth entry, 11 March 1752.
This is probably a transcription of an original town record book for Westborough, Massachusetts, so it is a Derivative Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth of Lydia Bathrick and her parents names.
Lydia Bathrick (1752-1795), the daughter of David and Lydia (Maynard) Bathrick of Westborough. She married Phinehas Brigham (1755-1802), the son of Moses and Mehitable (Grout) Brigham of Westborough, Massachusetts on 29 April 1779 in Westborough. They are my 4th great-grandparents, through their son Lambert Brigham (1794-1834) who married Sophia Buck (1797-1882) in 1817.
