Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- What Did Genea-Santa Bring You For Christmas?

                         Calling all Genea-Musings Fans:

 It's Saturday Night again -

Time for some more Genealogy Fun!!

Come on, everybody, join in and accept the mission and execute it with precision. Here's your chance to sit on Genea-Santa's lap (virtually) and tell him your Christmas memories:

Here is your assignment, should you decide to accept it (you ARE reading this, so I assume that you really want to play along - cue the Mission Impossible music!):

1)  What genea-gift did Genea-Santa bring you and/or your family this Christmas season?

2)  Tell us in a comment to this blog post, in your own blog post, in a Facebook post, and be sure to leave a link to your post.

Here's mine:

a)  I received See's dark chocolate mints and molasses chips from Tami and family, plus a blood pressure test unit.  Lori and her boys sent a Chargers jersey for me.  Linda can't shop for me, so Genea-Santa gave me two San Diego Memories books and the American Nation book.

b)  Genea-Santa got Linda some earrings, a Yahtzee hand-held game, some word puzzle and Sudoku books, and some personal necessities.  Tami and family gave her See's peanut brittle and a framed photo of the three grandkids for her room.  Lori and family gave her a photo of grandson Lucas graduating, earrings, a ceramic ornament, and a Sudoku book.

c)  Throughout the year, as a consequence of having subscriptions to Ancestry, MyHeritage, Findmypast, Geni, and American Ancestors, plus FamilySearch, I received many record images from the digitized collections that helped me with my genealogy and family history research.  Included in that are state probate records, state land records, English probates and church records, Italian civil records, Denmark civil and church records, and much more.   RootsMagic Version 8 was released and helps me organize all of it.

It looks like I am not the only late person this week. :) Yesterday meant finishing up the holiday clean up and then vegging! Here is my post: https://emptybranchesonthefamilytree.com/2021/12/saturday-night-genealogy-fun-173/
