Genealogy Pot-Pourri - Week Ending 28 November 2022

Here are the highlights of my family history and genealogy related activities over the past week.

1)  Published a genealogy sketch for the 52 Ancestors series for 7th great-grandfather #728 John Horton (1672-1752) of Milton and Rehoboth, Massachusetts.

2)  Transcribed a probate record for Amanuensis Monday -- 1795 Will of Relief Seaver (1774-1795) of Westminster, Massachusetts.

3)  Added to my MyHeritage AI Time Machine images and saved most of the available options to the computer, and added some of them to Facebook.  Wrote New Themes Added to the MyHeritage AI Time Machine.  Here is one of my favorites (1960's person):

4)  Added more photographs and document images to my ancestral profiles on FamilySearch Family Tree.  I'm working on the 3rd and 4th great-grandparents.  Wrote the post Rabbit Holes With Randy -- Adding Memories to FamilySearch Family Tree Profiles to describe my process.

5)  Added more photos and document images, and more Web Links to my 52 Ancestors posts, to my Ancestry Member Tree profiles.

6) AncestryDNA now has 41,331 DNA matches (up 29 from 21 November) for me today, with no new ThruLines.  Added Notes to 0 of them, and added no lines to  RootsMagic.   MyHeritageDNA now has 10,869 DNA matches (up 11 from 21 November) for me, with no new Theories.  Reviewed the new DNA matches on AncestryDNA, MyHeritageDNA, FamilyTreeDNA and 23andMe.

7)  Occasionally matched RootsMagic profiles to FamilySearch Family Tree.  I have matched 48,522 of my RootsMagic persons with FamilySearch Family Tree profiles (up 20).

8) Used Web Hints and Record Matches from Ancestry, MyHeritage, Findmypast and FamilySearch to add content and source citations to my RootsMagic profiles. I now have 70,107 persons in my RootsMagic file (up 6 since 21 November), and 145,450  source citations (up 8). I TreeShared 115 new or modified profiles with my Ancestry Member Tree, and I resolved 344  Ancestry Hints. My Ancestry Member Tree has Ancestry Record Hints with 176,524 to be resolved, but I work on them several times a week.  My MyHeritage family trees have 162,523 Record Matches in 286 sources and I work on them occasionally.

9) Wrote 19 Genea-Musings blog posts last week (Sunday through Saturday), of which four were a press release. The most viewed post last week was
Best of the Genea-Blogs - Week of 13 to 19 November 2022 with over  198 views.  Genea-Musings had about 13,800 views last week.

10)  Real life:  This is week 142 since COVID restrictions started.  Tami and her two grand came down on Thanksgiving Day to take me to lunch, and to see Linda.  I went to our former neighbors house for Thanksgiving dinner, but I didn't eat much there - great to see this family after 30 years.  Linda is at a memory care and skilled nursing facility in Chula Vista 7 miles from home and I visited her six times last week.  I went grocery shopping on  Monday and Friday.  My Aztecs basketball team were 1-2 last week, my Aztecs lost their football game on Saturday night, and my Chargers won on Sunday.
