I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:
Our wedding was 21 March 1970 in Chula Vista, and we went to Acapulco for our honeymoon. We were in San Francisco two weeks later for a reception with Linda's San Francisco family, friends and neighbors at Linda's parents home at 1726 47th Avenue. I got to meet all of the living family members and neighbors, many of Linda's friends from high school and college, and got to see my second cousin, Marcia Chamberlain (far right of the photo) who lived in San Francisco.
This photograph was taken right after we cut the cake, and Linda smeared cake on my face. Everyone laughed about that, and I was somewhat embarrassed.
This is all part of our family history.
