This is an entry from a published book transcribing the original Huntington Town Records, and i therefore an Authored Work with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth of Jonathan Luice, and his father's name, on 1 May 1688.
Jonathan Luice [Lewis] was born 1 May 1688 in Huntington, New York, the son of Jonathan and Jemima (Whitehead) Luice [Lewis]. He married (1) Abigail (--?--) Scudder (c1688-c1753) in about 1710 probably in Suffolk County, New York. They had seven children. He married (2) Anne (Edwards) (Wheeler) Kelsey (1682-1756) on 3 November 1753 in Huntington, New York. He married (3) Abigail (--?--) Pintard (c1694-1764)on 28 August 1756 in Richmond County, New York.
Jonathan and Abigail (--?--) Lewis are my 7th great-grandparents, through their son, Jonathan Lewis (c1715-1786), who married Marie La Tourette (1734-1791) in about 1756 in Richmond County, New York.
