New MyHeritage Feature: Sharing MyHeritage DNA Results With a Collaborator

 I received this information from Daniel Horowitz of MyHeritage today:

=====================================

I’m pleased to share that, in response to requests from the genealogy community, we’ve added the option to securely share DNA results with a collaborator on MyHeritage. MyHeritage users can now invite someone else, such as a DNA expert, to view their DNA results and become a member of the family site on MyHeritage, which also gives the collaborator access to the user’s family tree.

Following the introduction of mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for viewing DNA results on MyHeritage, it became much more difficult for users to seek advice and guidance from others when analyzing their DNA Matches. This new addition overcomes this challenge, and enables users to enlist the help of someone they know and trust to interpret their DNA results effectively.

Read more about this feature and how to use it on our blog.

Disclosure: I receive a complimentary subscription to MyHeritage, and have received other material consideration in past years. I uploaded my autosomal DNA raw data to their DNA product. This does not affect my objective analysis of MyHeritage products.  I am a subscriber to Family Tree Webinars and love it.
