My Parents and Me in 1944 -- (Not So) Wordless Wednesday #829

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite and most priceless family  photographs:

This photo is me, as a baby, with my parents, Fred and Betty (Carringer) Seaver, probably taken in early 1944.  This was taken along Madison Avenue in San Diego at the home of Chuck and Dorothy Chamberlain.  Dorothy was my father's first cousin, and their home was where my father arrived in 1940 from Massachusetts.

They are all dressed up - mom in her hat, slim dress and big purse, and dad with a white shirt and slicked back hair.  And me with bare feet and a jumper.  I wonder if we were celebrating Easter 1944?  We lived in Chula Vista at the time, but I'm sure we visited the Chamberlain's several times a year on holidays. I recognize the wall they are standing by.

This photograph is a part of my family history.   I used the MyHeritage Photo tools to enhance the faces and brighten up the image.
