He lived in St. Clair, Michigan, United States in 1860 and Fort Myers, Lee, Florida, United States in 1930. He died on 18 October 1931, in West Orange, Essex, New Jersey, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried in Newark Mountains, Essex, New Jersey, United States.
