I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite and most priceless family photographs:
This photograph is very precious to me - this is my maternal grandmother, Emily Kemp (Auble) Carringer (1899-1977) feeding me in about 1944. The setting is the Carringer home at 2130 Fern Street in San Diego, in the backyard. My dear grandmother took care of me while my father was in the U.S. Navy and my mother was working as a school teacher. My mother and I lived with her parents while my father was in the service. Emily probably saw many of my "firsts" - walking, talking, etc. I wonder if she took me in a stroller to the grocery store every day?
This photograph is a part of my family history. I used the MyHeritage Photo tools to enhance the faces and brighten up the image.
