Genealogy Poem and Song From Artificial Intelligence - "Helix Of Our Souls"

I've used FREE Artificial Intelligence tools to create poems and songs about genealogy and family history in the recent past, including:

I have several more - all of my AI-generated songs are in a list at   https://suno.com/@skeletalvenue315.

Recently, I requested ChatGPT-4o create a poem, and had Suno create a song, about DNA research with the same prompt:

"Create a poem about ancestry and DNA, mentioning intertwining helixes, chromosomes, genes, centimorgans, mitochondrial DNA, Y-DNA, autosomal DNA, and cousin relationships."

Here is the ChatGPT-4o poem:

Helix Of Our Souls

"In the dance of life our stories blend, through time's unending thread,
Ancestry and DNA, where paths of kin are led.
Intertwining helixes, a spiral bound so tight,
Chromosomes like whispered dreams, in the tapestry of light.

"Within our genes, the echoes sing, of generations past,
Centimorgans measure ties, through which our roots are cast.
Mitochondrial DNA, from mothers’ line it flows,
A matrilineal whisper, in the bloodline it bestows.

"Y-DNA, the father's mark, a lineage so clear,
Tracing back through ancient lines, a legacy held dear.
Autosomal strands entwine, with stories broad and deep,
Mapping out the cousin links, in memories we keep.

"Each twist and turn, each silent thread, a narrative profound,
In the genome's vast expanse, where connections can be found.
From distant shores to homestead fields, our ancestors reside,
In every cell, a history, where all our secrets hide.

"Cousins close and cousins far, a family web we weave,
Through DNA's unfolding, our heritage perceive.
Intertwining helixes, the code of life unfurls,
Connecting past and present in the journey of our worlds.

"In chromosomes and centimorgans, our heritage displayed,
Mitochondrial whispers, through time will never fade.
Y-DNA’s guiding hand, and autosomal ties,
Bind us to our kin and kin, where every story lies.

"In the sacred dance of ancestry, through science we reveal,
The intertwined connections that make our lineage real.
Through helixes and history, our kinship we embrace,
In the endless strands of DNA, our family's timeless trace."
And here is the AI song and lyrics created from the prompt on Suno.com, using an acoustic folk narrative style:

Helix of Our Souls

"[Verse] We strum life's secret threads, In shadows they entwine.
Helixes that whisper through the marrow's ancient line.
Chromosome by chromosome A tapestry unfolds
Genes of joy and sorrow, In the stories they have told
"[Verse 2] Centimorgans map the paths, Where kinship's rivers run,
Down the charted Y-DNA, A saga just begun.
Mitochondrial echoes, In mothers' voices sung
Threads of past still binding us, Though days have just begun.

"[Chorus] Oh the helixes, They twist and curve.
In silent tales they faithfully serve.
Autosomal whispers in our blood,
In cousin's eyes, reflections of the flood.

"[Verse 3] In the labyrinth of ancestry, We chase our ghostly kin.
Unraveling the mysteries, beneath the skin we're in.
Each generation echoes, In strands of silken gold,
As time winds through our DNA, Their stories we uphold.

"[Verse 4] From distant lands and ages, Their legacies we trace,
In every gene a memory, Each centimorgan's grace.
Through Y-DNA's tether, And mitochondrial sea,
We find the faces of the past that make our family tree.

"[Chorus] Oh the helixes, They twist and curve.
In silent tales they faithfully serve.
Autosomal whispers in our blood
In cousin's eyes, reflections of the flood."
These are part of my genealogy and family research.  My hope is that they will be passed down to my grandchildren and their descendants to highlight the importance of sharing stories, memories and love.  I will add them to my Google Drive and to my YouTube channel and my FOREVER account.
