This obituary provides a summary of the life and family of Anna M. (Wheelwright) Seaver, with information about her age, birth date, place of death, marriage date, church membership, and the names and residences of her surviving children.

Anna Mabel Wheelwright (1900-1981) was born 9 April 1900 in Harvard, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Glynn (Hubbard) Wheelwright.  She died 13 January 1981 in Harvard, Illinois.  She married Irving Joseph Seaver (1894-1980) on 5 June 1920 in Belvidere, Illinois.  They had three children:
  • Marion Isabelle Seaver (1923-2015), married 1943 Warren Ruda Schreck (1921-2000).
  • Francis Andrew Seaver (1925-2020), married 1949 Joan M. Utesch (1932-????).
  • Lyle Arthur Seaver (1927-1927)
I am not related to Irving Joseph Seaver (1894-1980), who is descended from  Sjur Knutsen Qvarme Seaver of Rock County, Wisconsin.

There are over 10,000 Seaver "stories" in my family tree - and this is one of them.   Life happens, accidentally and intentionally, and sometimes a person has a reather sparse obituary with good family information.  I am glad that I can honor Anna Mabel (Wheelwright) Seaver today.

You never know when a descendant or relative will find this blog post and learn something about their ancestors or relatives, or will provide more information about them to me.
