RootsTech 2025 Impact Forum Addresses the Power of Family History

Speakers share how combined family legacy and artistry create an impact

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (26 February 2025)RootsTech 2025, hosted by FamilySearch, has announced its Impact Forum speakers! The Impact Forum is 1 of 3 daily events that will be available to both in-person and online attendees. The RootsTech 2025 Impact Forum will focus on the deepening impact of family history through the lens of genealogy expert Lindsay Fulton, award winning Navajo artist and photographer Mylo Fowler, and 5-time Grammy award winning musician, Victor Wooten. (Find and share this announcement online in the FamilySearch Newsroom).

RootsTech 2025 Main Stage Forums 

In addition to the Impact Forum, RootsTech 2025 will offer a FamilySearch Global Tech Forum and an Innovation and Tech Forum.  

RootsTech 2025 informational forums will be educational and address the future impact of technology in creating family connections and discoveries. The forums include panel discussions and talks focused on specific topics, discussed by professionals so that participants can hear directly from the experts themselves.  

  • FamilySearch Global Tech Forum. Thursday, March 6, 9:30–10:30 a.m. (MST) 

Join members of the FamilySearch engineering and product team as they showcase new global products and features.  

  • Innovation and Tech Forum. Friday, March 7, 9:30–10:30 a.m. (MST) 

Industry innovators reveal the latest developments to enhance your family discoveries. 

  • Impact Forum. Saturday, March 8, 9:30–10:30 a.m. (MST) 

Watch the deepening impact of family history through the lens of a professional genealogist, musician, and photographer who use their skills and family legacy to help impact the world around them.
