Randy, I believe you have an old error in your Dunham genealogy.

John Dunham's second wife Abigail Balliou was the daughter of a Thomas Balliou but her marriage records clearly says they (he was present at the marriage) were of England. (Yes it is written in Dutch.) There is no information on Abigail's birth nor who was her mother -- yet.

The other Thomas Ballou who married Ann Amie was in Belgium not Holland/The Netherlands and both were dead prior to John and Abigail's marriage in 1622. So they can not be one and the same.

It is good to read any article on Dunham in The American Genelaogist (TAG) as that is where most of the corrections to old/misguided research (of any surname) can be found.

I descend from John and Abigial's son Jonathan. (Not to be confused with John and Susanna's son John. In this family, John and Jonathan are two different names not the same.)
