CVGS Program on Wednesday 31 July Features "The Founding Fathers"

Wednesday, 31 July 2019, 12:30 p.m.
CVGS General Meeting

at Bonita-Sunnyside Library
(4375 Bonita Road, Bonita CA) in the Community Room

Program Speaker:  Michael W. Allen on
“The Founding Fathers ~ Who are They Are and Where Did They Come From?”

Although there are volumes written about the Founding Fathers, rarely do we hear about where they came from and how they came to be in a position to create a foundation for such a unique country; where people are free to design their own destiny.  These friends and family influencers of the forefathers will be the topic of Mike's informative and lively discussion.

Our speaker, Michael W. Allen, is a multi-talented, multi-skilled artist and historian with a passion for The Lord, Country and Family.  He has lived a colorful past – sailing as crew member on the Star of India, acting with the Maritime Museum education program, Civil War and Old West Re-enacting, doing Extras work for the History Channel and in movies, and he is a former Marine.

His 30+ years as a Locksmith earned him a paycheck as he pursued his passion for American History.  He is a mentor and entrepreneur with a passion to help others grow, succeed and reach their goals for the future.  Mike is a perfectionist and enjoys diving deep into study and research about our great country and the Founding Fathers.

NOTE:  This program was originally scheduled at the Chula Vista Civic Center Library, but had to be changed due to a scheduling conflict at Chula Vista.

We cannot get into the Bonita-Sunnyside library room until 12 noon for setup, so the program should start around 12:30 p.m.  Please don't arrive before 12 noon.

After the presentation, there will be a short CVGS business meeting, the opportunity drawing, and refreshments.  We have to be out of the Community Room by 3 p.m.
