San Diego Genealogical Society Fall Seminar on 31 August Features Daniel Horowitz

The San Diego Genealogical Society's Fall Seminar is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Captain's Room at Marina Village (1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109), right on Mission Bay in San Diego.  Registration at the Captain's Room starts at 8 a.m.


The Seminar speaker is Daniel Horowitz, the Genealogy Expert at MyHeritage.  Daniel's four presentations will be:

Session 1:  Discovering Family History with MyHeritage Unique Technologies

Session 2:  Getting the most out of MyHeritage - Advance features

Session 3:  How you can Find your Relatives with a DNA Test

Session 4:  Research Jewish Genealogy Resources on the Internet 

Daniel Horowitz is the Genealogy Expert at MyHeritage, providing, key contributions liaising with genealogy societies, bloggers and media, as well as lecturing, and attending conferences around the world. Dedicated to Genealogy since 1986, he was the teacher and the study guide editor of the family history project "Searching for My Roots" in Venezuela for 15 years. Daniel is involved in several crowdsource digitization and transcription projects and holds a board level position at the Israel Genealogy Research Association (IGRA).

The registration fee includes morning coffee/tea with pastries and lunch.  The lunch choices are a Turkey Sandwich with chips, or a Cobb Salad.  The lunch includes bottled water and a cookie.

Early Bird Price (until 31 July 2019):  Members $45; Non-members $55

Regular Price (August 1 - August 29, 2019):  Members $55; Non-Members $65.

The last day to register is August 29, 2019.
