Betty and Her Grandgirls -- Post 577 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post!  I found some more family photos hiding in my voluminous My Pictures file folder - I don't think I've posted this one yet:

This is a photograph from the early 1990s, perhaps 1992?  It was taken on the deck at my mother's home on Point Loma.  In the photo are my mother with her four granddaughters:  From the left:

*  My daughter, Lori (age 18?)
*  My daughter, Tami (age 15?)
*  My mother, Betty (Carringer) Seaver (age 73?)
*  Scott's daughter, Lisa (age 14?)
*  Stan's daughter, Molly (age 16?)

Betty tried to get together for lunch and a visit with all four granddaughters in the early 1990s.  This wasn't easy, since Lisa and Molly lived with their mothers.  When they met, they would do projects (art, mostly), have lunch, and share their lives.  My girls enjoyed seeing their only first cousins without their parents around.  Then they started going off to college and the group visits stopped.  They all loved their grandmother dearly, and have only good memories of her and these visits.
