4)  NOTES (with source citations as indicated in brackets):

The book Ten Generations of Blodgetts in America by Edwin A. Blodgett contains a short family sketch of Samuel Blodgett that mentions Huldah Blodgett as his daughter[1].  The Thompson book Blodget-Blodgett Descendants of Thomas of Cambridge provides a family sketch of Huldah Blodgett[2].

Jacob Whittemore Reed's book, History of The Reed Family In Europe and America, has a brief family sketch of Ebenezer Reed of Woburn, Massachusetts that names Huldah Blodgett as his wife[3].

Huldah Blodgett was born on 9 February 1689 in Woburn, Massachusetts, the daughter of Samuel and Huldah (Simonds) Blodgett[1-4].  The birth record says:

"[BLOGGET] Huldah, d. of Samuel and Huldah, Feb. 9, 1689."

She married Ebenezer Reed of Woburn in about 1714 in Woburn, and they had six children, all recorded in Woburn town records[2-3]:

*  Ebenezer Reed (1715-1789), married 1777 to Ruth Snow (1735-????)
*  Huldah Reed (1717-1775).
*  Nathan Reed (1719-1802), married 1743 Susanna Wood (1724-1780).
*  Abigail Reed (1721-1806), married 1752 Aaron Mason (1717-1799).
*  George Reed (1723-1804), married 1746 to Mary Wood (1726-1775).
*  Eliphaz Reed (1726-1776), married (1) 1747 Elizabeth Perry (1729-1752), (2) 1753 to Sarah Newell (1732-1777).

Huldah's father, Samuel Blodgett, died 5 November 1743, and there is no probate record for him.  Huldah's mother, Huldah (Simonds) Blodgett, died 13 March 1745/6 in Woburn, and there is an intestate estate probate record containing a letter testamentary, a letter of administration, a bond, an inventory of the personal estate, and an account.  There was no real estate.  Ebenezer Reed (son-in-law to Huldah (Simonds) Blodgett and husband of Huldah Reed) was one of the men who signed the letter testamentary requesting Captain Nathan Blodget be appointed administrator of the estate[5].

Ebenezer Reed died on 9 July 1767[1-3], but left no probate record.  Huldah probably continued living on the home farm adjacent to the farms of several of her children, or with one of her children, perhaps son George in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Huldah (Blodgett) Reed's death is recorded in both Woburn and Burlington town records.  The Woburn record[6] says:

"[REED] Huldah, wife of Mr. Ebenezer, May 11, 1777; 87 y."

The Burlington record[7] says:

"[REED] Huldah, wid. of -----, and mother of George, May 11, 1777, a. 87 y. P.R.I."

There are no burial records for Ebenezer or Huldah (Blodgett) Reed, and there are no probate records for them.

NOTE:  In 2014, Amy Johnson Crow suggested a weekly blog theme of "52 Ancestors" in her blog post  52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks on the No Story Too Small blog.  I have extended this theme in 2020 for a seventh year to 364 Ancestors in 364 Weeks.  The list of 52 Ancestors biographies from my great-grandparents to the 7th great-grandparents (in work) is in   https://www.geneamusings.com/p/ancestor-biographies.html.
