Randy's Autosomal DNA Test and Analysis Summary - 9 April 2020

My last list of my Autosomal DNA test and analysis results was posted in Randy's Autosomal DNA Test and Analysis Summary - 29 January 2020.

Here is the update, with comparison to almost two months ago (29 January 2020).  I'm curious to see how my numbers have increased:

1)  Ancestry DNA:

*  Total Matches (6 cM or more):  66,726 matches (was 63,951 matches on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 68 cM (1.0%) or more: 26 matches (was 25 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 34 cM (0.5%) or more:  141 matches (was 129 on 1/29/20)
*  4th Cousins or closer (20 cM): 1,466 matches (was 1,410 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with Common Ancestors:  386 (was 390 on 1/29/20)
*  Highest match has 779 cM (11.5%), and is one of my known first cousins.

2)  MyHeritageDNA:

*  Total Matches (8 cM or more):   8,318 matches (was 8,033 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 68 cM (1.0%) or more:  5 matches (was 5 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 34 cM (0.5 %) or more:  91 matches (was 88 on 1/29/20)
*  Number of Theories of Family Relativity:  12 (10 correct)  (was 12 on 1/29/20)
*  Highest Match has 512 cM (7.1%), and is one of my first cousins once removed.

3)  23andMe:

*  Total DNA Relatives Matches (7 cM or more):  1,385 Matches (was 1,286 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 68 cM (1.0%) or more:  9 Matches (was 26 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 34 cM (0.5%) or more:  105 Matches (was 121 on 1/29/20)
*  Highest Match has 163 cM (2.33%), and is a known 1st cousin twice removed.

4)  FamilyTreeDNA:

*  Total Family Finder Matches (18 cM or more, but counts segments with 3 cM or more):  3,638 Matches (was 3,536 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 68 cM (1.0%) or more:  17 (was 16 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 34 cM (0.5%) or more:  2,435 matches (was 2,360 on 1/29/20)
*  Highest Match has 96 cM (1.42%) and is an unknown cousin.

5)  LivingDNA:

*  Total Matches:  0 (was 0 on 1/29/20)

6)  GEDMatch:

*  Matches with 68 cM (1.0%) or more:  1 (was 1 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 34 cM (0.5%) or more: 42 (was 39 on 1/29/20)
*  Matches with 20 cM or more:  ~367 (was ~445 on 1/29/20)
*  Highest Match has 86.8  cM and is a known 3rd cousin

7)  Summaries:

*  In 2+ months, I added only 2 matches with 1.0% or more cMs, one on AncestryDNA,  and one on FamilyTreeDNA.  On 23andMe, I lost 17 for some reason (my counting?  matches removing their data? cM data calculation revision?).

*  My AncestryDNA 4th cousins or better has increased only 4.0% in 2+ months, and total matches have increased 1.0%.

*  MyHeritageDNA total matches have increased 3.5% in 2+ months, and 0.5% or higher matches increased 3.4%.

*  23andMe total matches have increased 7.7% in 2+ months, and 0.5% or higher matches have decreased 13.2%.

*  FamilyTreeDNA total matches have increased 2.9% in 2+ months.

*  I still have no matches at Living DNA.

*  It appears that the problems at GEDmatch has cost me at least 78 4th cousin or better matches (about 17.5% fewer) over the last 2+ months.

Randy, would you write a follow up post on The Shared cM Project. Why should I use it and how do I get my DNA results in it. I am a beginner genetic genealogist and I need help.

Thank you for any help you can give me.
