The Henry Austin Carringer Family in About 1892 -- Post 772 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is now one of my favorite photographs:

This is a photograph of the Henry Austin Carringer (1853-1946) family.  His wife, Abbey Ardelle "Della" (Smith) Carringer (1862-1944) is standing, and the child is my maternal grandfather, Lye Lawrence Carringer (1891-1976).  The photograph must have been taken in about 1892 or 1893, when Lyle was a small boy.

The photo frame has some of the glass missing, but I don't think I want to try to take it out.  I'm sure this photograph was on the nightstand or dresser or countertop of three families - the Henry Austin Carringer family, the Lyle Carringer family, and the Frederick Seaver family.

I found this photo in a shopping bag that contained the tabletop photos on the dresser, night stand, and/or family room countertop in my mother's home (Betty Virginia (Carringer) Seaver).  When she died in 2002, we gathered things up when we sold the house and I put the shopping bag and many more containers in the closet of my genealogy cave.  We finally started looking into the closet contents in April 2023.

This is all part of our family history.
