James and Hannah (Rich) Richmond on Their Putnam, Conn. Farm in About 1905 -- (Not So) Wordless Wednesday #826

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite and most priceless family  photographs:

This photograph was taken in about 1905 on the dairy farm of my 2nd great-grandparents, James Richmond (1821-1912) and Hannah Rich (1824-1911) in Putnam, Windham County, Connecticut.  I don't know who all of the people are - they are probably the extended family of James and Hannah at the time of the photo.

I'm pretty sure that James Richmond is the elderly fellow in the center of the photo next to the elderly lady who is probably Hannah (Rich) Richmond.

I recently found several black-and-white images (from xerox copies of black and white photos) in my family file for James and Hannah (Rich) Richmond.  When I visited the Richmond farm in 1990, my cousin Russell Richmond showed me loose photographs in his collection, and we took some of them to the drug store in town to make xerox copies.  Anther xeroxed photograph shows several people in the same buggy, and I wrote "about 1905) on the xerox page.

I used the MyHeritage photo tools to repair, enhance and colorize the photo, but the results are limited.

This photograph is a part of my family history.
