There are a number of webinars and YouTube videos available to help genealogists understand and use Artificial Intelligence tools. I listed a number of them on my Artificial Intelligence Compendium page here, under the "4. Useful Genealogy and AI Webinars and Videos (2024-2025)" heading.
On 8 January, Legacy Family Tree Webinars held the Genealogy Meets AI: Panel Discussion webinar with Geoff Rasmussen hosting, and these six panelists participating:
- Blaine Bettinger
- Diana Elder
- Steve Little
- Thomas MacEntee
- Andred Redfern
- Mark Thompson
Each panelist answered two questions suggested by Geoff's prompt, and then each presented live demonstrations of a task or use of an AI tool that they have used.
It was an interesting and intriguing discussion and I enjoyed watching it. I hope to use some of the tools and techniques suggestred by the panelists in my own genealogy and family history research.
This webinar is part of the new "Artificial Intelligence and Genealogy" series that is available to any subscriber to Legacy Family Tree Webinars in 2025. It is FREE for anyone to watch through 14 January. To watch it live, or to watch it after 14 January, requires a Legacy Family Tree Webinars subscription (retail $49.95 per year).
If you are interested in advancing your knoeledge and capabilities to use Artificial Intelligence for your genealogy work, this webinar (and the other ones listed on my Artificial intelligence Compendium page) will be helpful for your understanding and practice. ==========================================
Disclosure: I am a paid subscriber to Family Tree Webinars and love it.
