I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite and most priceless family photographs:
This is a photograph of my great-grandmother, Georgianna (Kemp) Auble (1868-1952), my mother, Betty Virginia Carringer (1919-2002), my maternal grandmother, Emily Kemp (Auble) Carringer (1899-1977), and my great-grandfather, Henry Austin Carringer (1853-1946). It was taken in about 1924, most likely by my maternal grandfather, Lyle Lawrence Carringer (1891-1976). The setting is a park with picnic tables somewhere in San Diego - perhaps in Balboa Park. The weather must have been cool, because the two ladies have shawls on.
This photograph is a part of our family history. I used the MyHeritage Photo tools to enhance the faces and brighten up the image, but the resulting image is not very colorful.
