"Randy's Roots" - A Genealogy Poem and Song Created by Artificial Intelligence

I've used FREE Artificial Intelligence tools to create biographies, poems and songs about genealogy and family history in the recent past. Today, I want to share a poem and a song about my family tree:

1)  I requested Microsoft CoPilot, Perplexity, ChatGPT and Claude (all FREE AI tools) to create a  poem about my family tree, using surnames and ancestral places.  Here is the Prompt I used for the poem and the song:

Create a poem about genealogist Randy Seaver, his family tree with surnames: Seaver in Leominster, Carringer in Sandy Creek PA, Richmond in Wiltshire, Auble in Newton NJ, Hildreth in Townsend MA, White in Glocester RI, Soule in Plymouth MA, Smith in Rolling Prairie WI, Vaux in Somerset, and Kemp in Ontario; using websites of Ancestry, FamilySearch, American Ancestors, MyHeritage and Findmypast.

 2)  I chose the Microsoft CoPilot created poem today.  Here are the lyrics:

RANDY'S ROOTS

In the heart of Leominster, where Seavers once did dwell,

Randy Seaver traces roots, with stories he can tell.
From Carringers in Sandy Creek, Pennsylvania’s pride,
To Richmonds in Wiltshire, where ancient kin reside.

In Newton, New Jersey, the Aubles’ tales unfold,
While Hildreths in Townsend, Massachusetts, their history bold.
The Whites of Glocester, Rhode Island’s cherished past,
And Soules of Plymouth, where Mayflower’s anchor cast.

Smiths in Rolling Prairie, Wisconsin’s open land,
Vaux in Somerset, where England’s hills still stand.
Kemps in Ontario, with stories rich and grand,
Randy’s family tree, a tapestry so grand.

With Ancestry and FamilySearch, he delves into the past,
American Ancestors, MyHeritage, his knowledge vast.
Findmypast reveals the secrets, hidden in the years,
Randy Seaver’s journey, through laughter and through tears.

A genealogist’s quest, to uncover and to find,
The threads that weave his lineage, the ties that bind.
In every name and place, a story to be told,
Randy Seaver’s family tree, a legacy of old.

3)  Here is the AI song and lyrics, created from the same custom prompt, on Suno.com, using an acoustic pop style:

RANDY’S ROOTS

[Verse]
Seaver in Leominster town
Carringer from Sandy Creek
Richmond's in Wiltshire found
Auble's tales now speak

[Verse 2]
Hildreth in Townsend's breeze
White from Glocester's rhyme
Soule's from Plymouth seas
Smith in Rolling Prairie's time

[Chorus]
Digging through the leaves of life
Ancestry's where ties bind tight
FamilySearch and stories rife
Threads of past in morning light

[Verse 3]
Vaux from Somerset's old line
Kemp in Ontario's land
Tracing steps through sands of time
Names we hold in hand

[Bridge]
American Ancestors echo loud
MyHeritage brings forth the proud
Findmypast where whispers meet
Generations blend so sweet

[Chorus]
Digging through the leaves of life
Ancestry's where ties bind tight
FamilySearch and stories rife
Threads of past in morning light

4)  Here are my blog posts with the AI-created poems and songs to date:

I have several more songs online at Suno.com (play all of them at   https://suno.com/@skeletalvenue315).

5)  These stories, told in verse and song, are part of my genealogy and family research.  My hope is that they will be passed down to my grandchildren and their descendants to highlight the importance of sharing stories, memories and love of our ancestors.  I will add them to my Google Drive and to my YouTube channel and my FOREVER account.
