Best of the Genea-Blogs - April 25 to May 1, 2010

I did not do a "standard" best of the Genea-Blogs list this week due to my sojourn to Salt Lake City for the National Genelaogical Society Conference. Therefore, I will rely on my genea-blogging colleagues in the list below. Please go read the blog posts that they list:

* Weekly Genealogy Picks by John Newmark on the TransylvanianDutch blog. John highlights many excellent genealogy blog posts.

* Follow Friday: Roots’n’Leaves by Greta Koehl on Greta's Genealogy Bog blog. Greta highlights one blog, and lists several excellent blog posts from the previous week.

* Read Diane Haddad's posts on The Genealogy Insider blog from April 27 to May 1 and see excellent summaries of what happened at the NGS Conference. Great pictures too! This is how I kept up to speed while at the conference.

* I want to highlight the April issue of Shades of the Departed Magazine edited and produced by footnoteMaven with excellent articles and columns about photographs and photography. You will enjoy this (and every) issue of Shades!

* Lastly, have you been following Becky Wiseman on her road trip around the United States over the past six months or so? She's posting about the Grand Canyon this past week on her Kinexxions blog. Absolutely beautiful pictures, and stories too!

That's it - I'll have the usual list of my own picks from this next week on next Sunday.
