Rest, transcribe, blog, sleep.

Rather than attend the Innovator Summit on Wednesday, I plan to go to the Family History Library and do some research in microfilms that are not yet digitized.  I may go to the new Family Discovery Center on the first floor of the FHL, and may attend a class or two when the RootsTech part of the conference starts on Wednesday afternoon.  Or I may go take a nap.

I usually don't go to classes at RootsTech.  I prefer to work in the Media Center, greet old friends and make new ones, visit exhibitors in the Expo Hall, and watch short presentations in exhibits or the Demo Stage.

I expect to blog a bit from the Media Center and the hotel, and will probably post a number of photographs from the Expo Hall and the special events.  However, blogging may be light on some days because of time pressures and priorities.  There will be a RootsTech 2017 blog compendium and I will try to update it several times a day.

The "regular" blog posts like Wordless Wednesday, Treasure Chest Thursday, 52 Ancestors, Surname Saturday and Saturday Night Genealogy Fun will be on a one week hiatus due to the conference activities and being away from home.

Disclosure:  As a RootsTech Ambassador, I receive a free conference admission.
