2012 Legacy Cruise Photos: Part 1 -- Post 457 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

Linda and I enjoyed the Legacy Family Cruise in May 2012 from Oslo to Le Havre to Cherbourg to Dublin to Liverpool to Edinburgh and back to Oslo.  I took some photos with my camera (not cell phone), including these:

1)  Still at the dock in Oslo, but aboard the Vision of the Seas (Royal Caribbean line)  - here are two views on one side of the ship:

2)  On the second day at sea, I missed the four Legacy classes in the morning, and found a book to read in the Library while Linda swam.  I took a walk around the deck and saw two hardy souls playing shuffleboard:

Yep, that's Geoff Rasmussen and Luc Comeau of Legacy Family Tree!  The ship was going about 20 knots into a 20 knot wind, and it was like 50F in temperature.  The wind was stiff, and the pucks would curve, and sometimes get up on their side, due to the wind.  They invited me to play and we had fun, but it was cold!

3)  Here is my Angel Linda in our stateroom - the cabin steward made a rabbit (?) out of a towel and put it on the bed:

We had dinner the first two nights with the Legacy group - all 170 of us!  We changed tables every night so we could meet as many people as possible.

More to come - next up is the visit to Paris!
