4)  NOTES (with source citations as indicated in brackets):

Dinah Rice was born 15 October 1693 in Marlborough, Massachusetts Bay, the first child of Edmund and Ruth (Parker) Rice of Marlborough[1-2,4].

She married Nathan Brigham (1693-1784) at age 24 on 24 December 1717 in Marlborough[2-4].  Nathan was the son of Nathan and Elizabeth (Maynard) Brigham of Marlborough.  They had five children, all born and recorded in Marlborough town records:

*  Dinah Brigham (1719-1784), married 1743 Jonsthan Witt (1718-????)
*  Eunice Brigham (1721-1792), married 1742 to Hezekiah Newton (1719-1786).
*  Moses Brigham (1723-1769), married 1749 to Mehitable Grout (1725-1795).
*  Perses Brigham (1725-1740).
*  Elizabeth Brigham (1725-????), married 1749 Jedidiah Fay (1726-1799).

Dinah's father, Edmund Rice, wrote his will on 10 August 1726, and it was proved in Middlesex County Probate Court on 12 September 1726 in Case File 18697[5]. The will mentioned wife Hannah, sons Seth ("the eldest now with me"), Eleazer; and daughters Dinah Brigham, Huldah Wheelock, Thankful Rice, Ruth Rice, and Anna Rice.

There is no death record for Dinah Brigham in the Marlborough town records. Her last child, Elizabeth Brigham, was born 18 December 1725.  Her father named her in his will dated 10 August 1726.  Nathan Brigham married, secondly, in about 1729 to Hepsibah Ward.  It is likely that Dinah (Rice) Brigham died between late 1726 and 1729.

NOTE:  This genealogical sketch is out of Ahnentafel order because I found new information linking Sophia Newton to her birth father, Lambert Brigham.

NOTE: In 2014, Amy Johnson Crow suggested a weekly blog theme of "52 Ancestors" in her blog post 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks on the No Story Too Small blog. I have extended this theme in 2022 for a ninth year to 468 Ancestors in 468 Weeks. The (incomplete) list of 52 Ancestors biographies from my great-grandparents to the 7th great-grandparents (in work) is in https://www.geneamusings.com/p/ancestor-biographies.html.
