SDGS Program on Saturday, 14 February Features Yvette Porter-Moore and Jean Moss

The February program meeting of the San Diego Genealogical Society (SDGS) is Saturday, 14 February from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (8350 Lake Murray Blvd., San Diego CA 92119).

There are two presentation sessions:

Session 1 (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM): Yvette Porter-Moore

Blogging Your Family History: What Will You Do With All Your Research?

Yvette will speak about our boxes of files and research and how to put it to use, so that we can resolve issues we are having finding answers by sharing with others. Yvette’s talk covers the basics of blogging and how to blog your family research on line so your family stories can be told for generations.

Session 2 (11:15 AM – 12:15 PM): Jean Moss

 My Adoption Search - Follow My Journey in Solving the Puzzle Pieces

Jean is an adoptee who searched for her birth family.  With many events and activities, they have been found. She will share with you how she went about it. Follow her journey in solving the puzzle pieces, including road blocks, overcoming them and where she is in her research today.
