Due to circumstances beyond my control (especially the wireless service at the Plaza Hotel), I am unable to provide a full list of Best Of posts this week. Before I went, I had these on my list:
* SSDI Call to Action by Judy G. Russell on The Legal Genealogist blog. Judy summarizes the challenges concerning the SSDI, and provides advice on how to make genealogy's voice heard.
* Conference Call With Lisa Kudrow by Kathryn Lake Hogan on the Looking For Ancestors blog. Kathryn recounts some highlights from the first WDYTYA? interview.
And I want to highlight the Carnival of Genealogy 114th Edition, edited by Jasia on the Creative Gene blog, in which the best posts of 2011 of 16 geneabloggers.
I have tried to make a list this week of other geneabloggers with Best Of lists, including:
* Fab Finds in Genealogy for the Week of 29 January 2012 by GenuinelyLAF on the 1 Ancestry 2 Little Time blog.
* Monday Morning Mentions by Lynn Palermo on The Armchair Genealogist\ blog.
* Ruth's Recommendations by Ruth Blair on The Passionate Genealogist blog.
* Monday Recap for January 30, 2012 by Amanda on the Geni Blog.
* Follow Friday: This Week's Favorite Finds by Jen on the Climbing My Family Tree blog.
* Notable Genealogy Blog Posts, 5 February 2012 by Michael Hait on the Planting the Seeds blog.
* Friday Finds – 02/03/12 (A Few Days Late) by Julie Cahill Tarr on the GenBlog blog.
I'll be back on my regular schedule next week!
