Here are the highlights of my family history and genealogy related activities over the past week.

1)  Attended theChula Vista Genealogical Society (CVGS) Board Meeting on Zoom on  Wednesday.  I reported on the newsletter, the Research Group and the DNA Interest Group.

2)  Wrote, edited, and published the July 2024 edition of the "Family History Gazette" newsletter.

3)  Transcribed the 1761 Property Distribution of John Hill (1707-1759) of Fairfield, Connecticut for the Amanuensis Monday theme.

4)  Wrote a genealogical sketch for my granduncle Devier David Carringer (1889-1890) of National City, California for the 52 Relatives theme.

6)  Posted my list of Revolutionary War soldier ancestors, and wrote an I poem about them in Independence Day - My 23 Known Revolutionary War Soldier Ancestors - Randy's HeroesAlso wrote an AI poem commemorating my 5th great-granduncle Asahel Read (1753-1775) who died at Lexington in 1775 in For Independence Day -- The Ballad of Asahel Read.

7)  Started the "real" research for my Partridge and Wakeman lines, starting from scratch to find credible sources in books, periodicals, and online record collections on Ancestry, FamilySearch and MyHeritage.  Created a Task List in RootsMagic for each ancestor in the Partridge and Wakeman tree and am working on them daily.

8)  AncestryDNA now has 46,319 DNA matches (up 42 from 30 June) with 1968 "close" matches for me today, with 4 new ThruLines (1 was wrong).  I added Notes to 6 new Matches, and added 3 lines of matches to my RootsMagic tree.  MyHeritageDNA now has 12,630 DNA matches (up 7 from 30 June) for me.  Reviewed the new DNA matches on AncestryDNA, MyHeritageDNA, FamilyTreeDNA and 23andMe.

9)  Occasionally matched RootsMagic 10 profiles to FamilySearch Family Tree.  I have matched 51,726  of my RootsMagic persons with FamilySearch Family Tree profiles (up 85).

10) Used Web Hints and Record Matches from Ancestry, MyHeritage, Findmypast and FamilySearch to add content and source citations to my RootsMagic profiles. I now have 73,430 persons in my RootsMagic family tree (up 102), and 147,000 source citations (up 27).  TreeShared no new and updated profiles with my Ancestry tree.  Resolved 259 Ancestry Hints. My Ancestry Member Tree has Ancestry Record Hints with 22,359 to be resolved, but I work on them several times a week.

11) Wrote 18 Genea-Musings blog posts last week (Sunday through Saturday), of which two were a press release. The most viewed post last week was
